ABOUT ME

BEFORE: Amanda in February 2014

AFTER: Amanda in October 2015

Hi!  I'm Amanda.  A few years ago I was always sick.  I don't mean sniffles.  I mean over a dozen medications daily, 6 specialists and a primary care doctor every month, bedridden almost all hours of the day, chronically ill... S-I-C-K!

Then, in 2014 I had an awakening.  My docs recommended I go on permanent disability, and then my 7-year-old son drew a picture in my mother's day card that said I was really good at sleeping (see below!)  Yikes.  I had a family I loved, my MA degree in communications, and a promising career.  A lifetime of meds and bed?  No, thanks.

The conventional approach to treating my autoimmune illnesses wasn't exactly working out well for me.  So, I set out to try anything and everything else possible to find my health.  What a fascinating journey it has been!

Along the way I realized the power of nutrition, and I learned that a holistic approach could work magic for people like me. I regained my physical and mental health.  I dropped 46 lbs, 16 prescriptions, and 6 specialists.  And I found myself with a whole new purpose in life.

I'm a health coach.  I'm here to help you take back your health. Ready?

  • All I can say is "wow!" You are so highly knowledgeable and helpful with all of this. I can't begin to thank you enough. I'm so grateful to have been able to connect with you and learn so much from you.
    ~Heather S.
  • I am realizing the way to being healthy is to not ignore and suppress but to listen quietly and be observant. All of the panic attacks and stress and health issues were a now obvious sign my life was so out of balance. Thanks for all of your help!
    ~Christina R.
  • My "thank you" seems so small compared to all you've done, but please know that it comes from my heart. I was praying for a miracle, and God sent you... a sweet Angel.
    ~Darlene C.
  • This is amazing! Thank you so much for helping me feel better about what the heck is going on with me. You are such an amazing health coach, it's not even funny. You seriously are so helpful, supportive, and just amazing.
    ~Heather J.
