Amanda LaPlante MA, INHC, battled multiple autoimmune diseases for two decades. By 2013, at age 33, she was seeing six specialists and a primary care physician every month, with more than a dozen active prescriptions at the pharmacy. Words like “permanent disability” were being mentioned to her by doctors. Then, on Mother’s Day weekend of 2014, her then 7-year-old son wrote her a card saying she was good at sleeping!
